Music is an excellent tool to use within the non-musical classroom. Not only do students benefit, but the teacher, as well. Simply put, Music is Fun! Students enjoy singing, dancing, and listening to music. Music is a transitional tool. Contemporary instructional trends utilized by many elementary teachers may include Math raps, Social Studies literacy songs, and recordings of ethnic dances from other cultures. These kinds of musical activities may be used to introduce, review, or close a classroom teaching experience.

The beauty of Jamaica is vastly obvious to the world through international advertisement and glorious reports of satisfied tourists. I am confident in saying, "the beauty of Jamaica is only surpassed by the character, pride, and faith of it's people." I did not have time to enjoy the luxury of the island nor lavish in the beautiful shade of the palm, almond, or coconut trees. Daily schedules were from early a.m. to late p.m.
